Happy Thanksgiving Canadian friends and family! We are thankful to be back home after a wonderful touring season! Raspberries are needing to be picked, the kale is lush and lovely in the garden and pears are hanging low on the tree. It is still unseasonably warm here and the earliest our Thanksgiving can possibly be so the thought of winter seems a bit strange. The long "to do" list in preparation for winter is as long as my arm but the glamorous job of staking the laneway (so we can find it in the snow) will have to be juggled with bookings for next year and preparations for our Christmas concerts with Harp & Holly. Big news on that front, but you'll have to go to that website to find out all about it!
Thoughts are now turning back to pie...pumpkin pie.
Stay well, stay thankful and stay patootified!

Here is a completely random shot of a couple of pies that our dear friend Anne Larson made for us the morning after our show in Berkeley Springs WV.
