Just when we thought it was finally safe to say Happy Spring here in Woodford we got another fierce snow storm! Flowers were just starting to pop their cheery heads up and our thoughts dared to turn to getting the vegetable garden ready for planting. There’s nothing like getting a bit of mud stuck to your boots after nothing but snow. But no, the snowblower is still in use as of today!
Happily we haven't been completely snowbound this winter. We did get out for a show in Lowville NY in February at the Lewis County Historical Society. We love this quirky venue which doubles as the town’s museum. We thought we’d share a bit of our show from that night in this new video of “Lead Me Now”.
Next up for us is a concert very close to home at the Desboro Music Hall on April 22nd. This is our first time performing for this series and we are excited about having Charlottetown's singer-songwriter/ fiddler Alicia Toner open for us.

This of course is all gearing us up for our seventh tour of England and Scotland which runs from May 20th to June 30th. We are so happy that John Jackson will be joining us once again! We’ll be revisiting the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond, The Met in Bury and will be performing for the very first time at the Brixham Theatre in Devon and Kirton Town Hall Live in Lincolnshire. Lots of favourite clubs and soon to be new favourites will round out the tour. See all the details here.
See you out there!
